Camper overturns in Kullu dist, 23 injured

Shimla: A road accident in Kullu's Nirmand tehsil late Friday evening left 23 passengers injured after a camper vehicle overturned. Two of the injured were referred to Indira Gandhi Medical College (IGMC), Shimla, due to their critical condition. The vehicle, driven by Diwan Chand of Kimcha village, was reportedly being driven at high speed and in a negligent manner. According to passengers, the driver lost control, causing the vehicle to first collide with another vehicle before overturning. Local residents quickly launched rescue efforts, helping shift the injured to a nearby hospital using ambulances and private vehicles. Several victims remain in serious condition.
