BJP constitutes manifesto committee for civic polls

Chandigarh: BJP state president Mohan Lal Badoli on Friday constituted a 5-member state level manifesto committee for the municipal body elections. The BJP state president has included minister Vipul Goyal, state vice president Vedpal Advocate, state general secretary Surendra Punia, Panipat mayor Komal Saini and Swachh Bharat Mission vice chairman Subhash Chand in the committee. BJP state media in-charge Arvind Saini said that Badoli has also appointed cluster in-charges and ward in-charges for the Ambala Municipal Corporation for the body elections. Harpal Singh Cheeka has been appointed cluster in-charge for wards 1 to 4 of Mandal Durga Nagar and Baldev Nagar. Ashok Dewan, Amrit Lal Joshi, Ravinder Sangwan, Navdeep Chawaria, Dharampal Shandilya, Suresh Jaglan, Krishna Sharma and Ishm Singh have been given the responsibility of mandal in-charge.Arvind Saini said that BJP state president has appointed Satpal Jamba as cluster in-charge for wards 5 to 8 of Mandal Ambala City and Baldev Nagar. Krishna Singla and Kapil Pandey have been appointed as in-charges of ward 5. Subhash Chander and Jaysingh Pal have been made in-charges of ward 6, Baldev Nagar and Ambala City. The responsibility of ward 7 in-charge has been given to Gurdayal Sunheri and Sanjay Saini. Amandeep Virk and Mehar Singh have been made in-charges of ward 8. Badoli has appointed Nirmal Bairagi as cluster in-charge for wards 9 to 12 of Mandal Ambala City/Baldev Nagar. Sheesh Pal Jindal and Harsh Goyal have been appointed in-charges of ward 9, Meena Chauhan and Ilam Singh of ward 10, Surendra Garg and Gurbaksh Singh Ladi of ward 11, and Yashpal Thakur and Amit Kheda of ward 12.
