BJP celebrates PM’s birthday with social service activities

CHANDIGARH: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organised multiple events to celebrate Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 71st

. A blood donation camp was organised by

Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar District of Bharatiya Janata Party

, Chandigarh, in collaboration with the team of PGI Blood Bank at the Sector 37 Community Center. BJP national vice-president and regional in-charge Saudan Singh was present on the occasion. He congratulated the blood donors and appreciated the team and workers who organised this camp.

A cake cutting ceremony was organised by the Mahila Morcha at

Kamalam

, the Sector 33 BJP state office. Eyes of school children of Sahpur Colony were tested and an immunity booster distribution programme was organised in Sector 22.

The saffron party also conducted a cleanliness drive at Dadu Majra Colony with the Swachhata Abhiyan department. Besides, a vaccination camp was organised in Sector 22. Many other programmes were also conducted.

Other activities included distribution of free medicines and vaccination camps, distribution of fruits and sweets at the leprosy ashram by the NGO Cell etc.

BJP’s state president Arun Sood, organisation general secretary Dinesh Kumar, mayor Ravikant Sharma were present.
