Baba Farid institutions to stage 6th Fest ‘VIBGYOR-2018’

BATHINDA: Aiming to showcase new innovations in technology, Bathinda based Baba Farid Group of Institutions(BFGI) in association with learning center

Princeton Review

is organizing the 6th Festival ‘VIBGYOR-2018’ on January 27 and 28. Baba Farid institutions chairman Gurmeet Singh Dhaliwal said that the motive of this fest is not only to provide the world level information about technology but also to make people aware of the culture of India as well as other countries.

Dhaliwal said that students from various IITs, IIMs, Universities, Engineering colleges and management institutes from across the country will participate in the fest in various technical and non-technical competitions. Prizes worth Rs. 20 lac will be distributed to the participants.

In ‘Techno World’ competition there will be competitions like robo race, clash of robots, extreme warrior, sumo warrior, line follower, project mania, Robo soccer, Robo golf, Cyclomania, Aero Modeling, Quad copter, Greenovation and Boat Racing. In ‘Magnet’, there will be non-technical competitions like college roadies, anchor hunt, biz-craft, face painting, Fashionista (corporate fashion show) and t-shirt painting. Except these, ‘Spectra’ will include Dance on the Beat, Turban Tying, Nail art, Vibgyor idol, science mania and treasure hunt. In ‘Skill competitions’, under skill development policy of the government of India, there will be competitions like website development, IT software solutions for business, mechanical Engineering design, mobile robotics, circuit designing, civil engineering design and manufacturing master.

Famous Bollywood singer Neha Kakkar and famous Punjabi singers like Kulwinder Billa, Sunanda Sharma, Gurnam Bhullar, Shivjot, Aamir Khan and

Jimmy Kotkapura

will be present to mesmerize the audience. BFGI will also provide the platform to interact with delegates from 13 countries including China, France, Egypt, Russia, Brazil, Germany through Global Village event, said Dhaliwal.
