CHANDIGARH: Haryana transport minister and member, Haryana State Haj Committee, Aftab Ahmed said on Tuesday that Haryana Haj-House would soon be constructed in the State.

Munish Ahmed Ansari of Panipat was unanimously elected as Chairman of Haryana State Haj Committee for a period of three years.
While extending his gratitude to the Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda for providing land for the Haryana Haj-House, Aftab Ahmed said that efforts would be made for the early completion of the building of the Haj-House. He said that the aim of this newly constituted Haryana State Haj Committee was to provide better facilities to Haj pilgrims.
The newly elected Chairman of Haryana State Haj Committee, Dr. Munish Ahmed Ansari said that prior to him, Aftab Ahmed remained the Chairman of this Committee and during his tenure, he had made commendable efforts for the welfare of Haj pilgrims. He also thanked Hooda and Aftab Ahmed for electing him as Chairman of the Haj Committee and assured that he would discharge the responsibility assigned to him with honesty and dedication.
Chief Parliamentary Secretary and Member of Haryana State Haj Committee Jaleb Khan and other members of the Committee namely Haji Shamshad, Maulvi Anwar, Maulana Abdul Subhan, Dr. Halimuddin Khan, Mohd. Zafruddin, Master Aslam, Javed Khan, Mohd. Salim Khan, Kaneez Fatima and Gulzar Ahmed were also present in the meeting.
