Amit Shah on Friday dedicated development projects worth Rs 825 crore to the people of Haryana from the holy land of Kurukshetra. The projects, spread across several districts, include new nursing colleges, hospitals, police housing, and other key infrastructure works aimed at strengthening healthcare, law enforcement, and connectivity in the state.
At a state-level ceremony organised by the home department at the KDB fairground in Kurukshetra, Amit Shah inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for a total of 19 projects. Haryana chief minister Nayab Singh Saini was also present on the occasion.

Applauding CM Saini’s governance, Amit Shah said that Haryana is progressing rapidly under the leadership of CM Nayab Singh Saini, who is following the vision and policies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi based on the principle of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas.”
Among the inaugurated projects were five nursing colleges constructed at a combined cost of Rs 262.51 crore — at Kheri Ramnagar in Kurukshetra (Rs 44.40 crore), Dherdu in Kaithal (Rs 43.97 crore), Kherawali in Panchkula (Rs 39.13 crore), Dayalpur in Faridabad (Rs 45 crore), and Arua in Faridabad (Rs 47.44 crore). Shah also inaugurated a two-lane bridge built for Rs 12.03 crore on the Delhi–Hisar road across the JLN feeder and BSB canal at RD 69.3.
Additionally, the home minister inaugurated 84 newly constructed residences at the Jind Police Lines — including 42 Type-II, 36 Type-III, and 6 Type-IV houses — along with the new PWD Rest House and Block Office at Narnaul in Mahendragarh district.
Amit Shah also laid foundation stones for several major health infrastructure projects: a 100-bed hospital at Assandh in Karnal costing Rs 76.19 crore, a Mother and Child Block at the Civil Hospital in Sonipat for Rs 138.12 crore, and another similar block in Nuh costing Rs 33 crore. He also launched the construction of Critical Care Blocks in Karnal (Rs 20.74 crore), Khanpur Kalan in Sonipat (Rs 22.53 crore), and Nuh (Rs 22.58 crore).
Other major projects for which the foundation stones were laid include the strengthening of the Rohtak–Kharkhoda–Delhi border road at a cost of Rs 25.04 crore, a Dairy Complex on Kanheli Road in Rohtak costing Rs 13.88 crore, the District Jail Building in Charkhi Dadri worth Rs 97.73 crore, and another District Jail Building in Panchkula worth Rs 86.17 crore.
Through these projects, Haryana aims to enhance its public infrastructure and welfare systems, with the state government reaffirming its commitment to balanced and inclusive development across all districts.
