AAP shortlists 31 aspirants for UT Lok Sabha seat

CHANDIGARH: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has uploaded on its website the list of applicants keen to contest parliamentary polls from Chandigarh on Aam Admi Party ticket.
The party's official website shows that 31 aspirants have been selected and none of them is a famous name. The list includes Baljeet Singh, Charandeep S Grewal, Dr Dharma Paul Attrey, Dr Mahesh Hukmani, Gurpreet Singh, Gurpreet Singh Kang,H K Arora, Harbir Singh Nain, Harpal Singh, Hitesh Kumar Puri, Jai Dev Wig, Krishan Chander, Krishan Kumar Garg, Kuldeep Singh, Malvinder Singh, Manjinde Singh Aujla, Meena Sharma, Munish Kumar Raizada, Naresh Garg, Nikhil Sehgal, Palwinder Singh Bajwa, Pankaj Pant, Pawan Kumar Sharma, Prem Kumar Garg, Rahul Bhartiya Gupta, Rajinder K Singla, Ram Lakshman Mittal Kasiwal, Som Parakash Rehil, Tejinder Singh Bedi, Tirath Singh Saini and Vijay Pal Singh.
The party's volunteers said except two or three, none of them had done enough ground work and many joined it recently.
