90% Rewari cases in home quarantine

Jind: Following the guidelines issued by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) for providing home isolation facility to very mild/asymptomatic cases of Covid-19, Rewari district has topped in this in Haryana. In Rewari, 90% patients are in home isolation followed by 86% in Jind and 80% in Gurgaon, revealed a report compiled by the Haryana health department till August 29.

The health department is in regular touch with these patients to know their status. In Haryana, of the 61,987 positive cases, 38,423 are in home isolation. Of the total 3,441 coronavirus positive cases, 3,096 cases are in home isolation in Rewari district till August 29. In Jind, 461 patients are in home isolation out of 533 and 9,509 in Gurgaon out of 11,693 cases.

Jind MLA +ve

Jind MLA Krishan Middha (49), who tested positive for Covid-19 two days ago, was shifted to Medanta hospital in Gurgaon for further treatment on Wednesday. The MLA, who is a diabetic and had fever for the past few days, is reported to be stable, said Jind senior medical officer Dr Gopal.tnn
