5 labourers killed in Moga mishap

The acccident happened at 10 am and five persons died on the spot.

As per eyewitnesses, some part of the jeep got damaged and the vehicle went out of control before hitting the tree. As per police officials.

Jagdev Singh

(35), Badal Singh (38), Sewak Singh (25), Hansa Singh (45) and Vicky Singh (24) died on the spot whereas six others sustained injuries and were admitted at Moga civil hospital.

Baghapurana DSP Sukhdeep Singh visited the site and said the police were looking into the matter and legal proceedings under Section 174 (unnatural death) of CrPC had been initiated.
