2 get 5 yrs RI in phone snatching case

Hisar: A district court here has sentenced two men to five years' rigorous imprisonment each in a nearly two-year-old mobile phone snatching case involving a private security guard. The court also imposed a fine of Rs 25,000 on each of the convicts.District and Sessions Judge Alka Malik convicted the accused, Yogesh and Tajender, after holding them guilty in the robbery case registered at Civil Lines police station in 2024.The case was lodged on the complaint of Ramprasad, a resident of Labour Colony at Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University.Following the investigation and trial, the court found both accused guilty and sentenced them to five years in jail.MSID:: 131393224 413 |
