SAMS portal opens for Class XI admission
Bhubaneswar: The e-admission process for Class XI in higher secondary schools for the 2026-27 academic session began here on Tuesday, with the directorate of higher secondary education opening the SAMS portal for submission of common application forms by students.
Students who have passed the high school certificate (HSC) examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education or equivalent boards are eligible to apply. The directorate informed that they can submit their applications till June 30.
The first selection merit list will be published on July 8, while students selected in the first phase can take admission between July 9 and July 15.
Students opting for slide-up requests after the first selection can apply online from July 10 to July 16. The second selection merit list will be published on July 23, and admissions under the second phase will continue till July 28, the directorate informed in a release.
For spot admissions, the choice-locking facility will open on July 30 and remain available till Aug 2. The spot selection list will be published on Aug 6, followed by admissions till Aug 12.
