Odisha assembly elections: BJP releases list of 9 more candidates

The BJP on Monday released names of nine more MLA candidates for the assembly seats in Odisha. The party has fielded Rishabh Nanda, son of Biju Janata Dal Rajya Sabha member Prashant Nanda, from Begunia.

BHUBANESWAR: The BJP on Monday released names of nine more MLA candidates for the assembly seats in Odisha.
The party has fielded Rishabh Nanda, son of Biju Janata Dal Rajya Sabha member Prashant Nanda, from Begunia.
Rishabh had joined the BJP last week.
Others include Dinesh Jain (Jharsuguda), Debendra Mohapatra (Rairakhol), Badrinarayan Dhal (Bhandaripokhari), Pradeep Naik (Bhadrak), Debnarayan Pradhan (Phulbani), Sampad Swain (Paradip) and Biswaranjan Badjena (Jayanti).

With this the BJP has named 130 candidates for the 147 member assembly which will go to polls in four-phases on April 11, 18, 23 and 29, simultaneously with Lok Sabha elections.
