City to get Odisha Mandap Convention Centre

Bhubaneswar: CM Mohan Charan Majhi announced an Odisha Mandap Convention Centre in Bhubaneswar, a state equivalent of Bharat Mandapam in Delhi. Stating that under the Viksit Odisha vision, the plan is to transform Odisha into a $500 billion economy by 2036, Majhi proposed construction of new govt buildings in the city to meet the needs of the coming generation: They include Jana Ashraya Bhavan, a guesthouse at Bhubaneswar to cater to people from different districts visiting the state capital for various works, besides the new legislative assembly, new Lok Seva Bhawan, a world-class museum and the Odisha Mandap.
