3 held for bank robbery bid

Bhubaneswar: Pahala police in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday arrested three men for allegedly attempting to rob a bank on Saturday night. The accused, Sagar Bhoi, Basanta Kumar Pradhan and Guru Charan Mallick, sneaked into the nationalised bank near Hansapal Chhak by breaking open the toilet skylight. However, they failed to break into the chest where cash was stored. When the manager reached the bank on Monday, he found the bank ransacked. Based on the CCTV footage, the police arrested the trio. tnn
