3-day IITBBS fest from today

Bhubaneswar: IIT Bhubaneswar will hold Wissenaire, a techno-management fest, in offline mode for three days, starting Friday. The national institute has been conducting the fest since 2010. It has undertaken various technical competitions, workshops and internship programmes as part of this event. The theme of the 13th edition is Aeternum Reis: redefining automobile and transportation technology in the light of accrescent exigencies.The institution claimed that Wissenaire is east India’s largest techno-management fest. Social welfare work, blood donation camps, tree plantation drives and awareness programmes were held in the past as part of the fest, said an official source. The fest will be organised under the leadership of Shishir Reddy, chief coordinator, and Srikant Gollapudi, chairperson of Wissenaire 23, the source added. TNN
