Bhopal: A 24-year-old finance company worker died Thursday afternoon after a speeding SUV rammed his motorcycle on Kaliashot Road near Ratibad's forest department barrier. The driver and 2-3 occupants fled the scene after their tyre burst, allegedly snapping the vehicle's registration plates to evade identification, police said.
The head-on collision occurred around 2.30 pm near Bull Mother Farm. Sandeep Maheshwari, 24, from Bilkisganj (Jahgaria) in Sehore district, was heading from Shahpura — where he'd handled loan work — to a customer's house in Ratibad via Kaliashot Dam Road. Seriously injured, he reached hospital but succumbed two hours later during treatment.
