Woman raped on marriage lure

Bhopal: A 30-year-old married woman was being allegedly raped by a 28-year-old man for the last three years on the promise of marriage. When the woman asked him to marry her, he refused citing that his family members were against their marriage. Feeling cheated, the woman reported the matter to Ashoka Garden police on Friday. Acting on her complaint, police registered a rape case against the accused and started investigation. SHO Ashoka Garden Alok Shrivastava said that the survivor alleged that she came in contact with the accused after she separated from her husband. The accused lured her by promising to marry her and then started sexually exploiting her. tnn
