Body of man recovered from Lower Lake in Talaiya

Bhopal: Talaiya police recovered the body of an unidentified man from Lower Lake on Thursday. The identity of the deceased was yet to be ascertained. Police registered a case and started investigations.According to the police, a woman reported seeing a body floating near the Kali Temple in Lower Lake around 4:15 pm on Thursday. The police reached the spot and, with the help of municipal divers, retrieved the body from the water. The body was sent for post-mortem after a formal investigation.The deceased, believed to be around 35 years old, was wearing a yellow shirt and blue jeans. The body appeared to be three to four days old and had started decomposing. No identification documents were found on the deceased. The police are working to establish the identity based on physical appearance and clothing and the information has been circulated to all local police stations.
