Police said that 3 to 4 families live and work at the marriage garden. On Friday morning, Tuki was playing with other children. At some point, she reportedly wandered near the tank and accidentally fell into it, but nobody noticed. After some time, a woman employee working at the garden went to the tank to fetch water and noticed the child lying in the water. She immediately pulled the girl out and rushed her to a private hospital along with the family, but doctors declared her dead on arrival.
Police said the tank was a well-like cement structure about 4 feet deep, built to store water for the marriage garden. Although there was very little water inside, the child was too small and likely drowned, they added.
