Bhopal: A man, terminated from the post of constable in Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), forged documents to rejoin duty. When the documents submitted by him were found to be fake, CRPF officials filed a complaint with Misrod police.
Acting on complaint, Misrod police on Thursday registered a case against the accused on charges of fraud and forgery and started the investigation.
Police said that the complainant Ramesh Chandra Gautam, 58, a resident of CRPF camp Bangrasia in Misrod, is posted as Inspector in CRPF. He filed a complaint with police stating that the accused Vikram Solanki, who hails from Patna in Bihar, was terminated from constable’s post in CRPF in January 2022 for remaining absent from the job for more than two years.
The accused filed an appeal which was rejected by the senior officials.
Later, he forged the letterhead on which the termination notice was sent to him and forged the signature of the IG. He then prepared another letter with forged signature to reinstate himself and submitted it at Bangrasia camp on Thursday. On the basis of suspicion, the CRPF officials investigated the letter and it was found to be a fake. Subsequently, the accused was taken in custody and handed over to Misrod police by CRPF officials. Acting on the complaint, cops registered a case against the accused and arrested him.
