Teen stripped, beaten for refusing money for liquor

JABALPUR: Three youths were detained in Jabalpur on Tuesday for allegedly stripping and assaulting a teenager boy last week after he refused to give them money for liquor, police said. The accused also forced the victim to hit himself with shoes and recorded the act, which surfaced on social media.The incident reportedly occurred near Muktidham in the Gwarighat area last where the accused allegedly dragged the victim to a secluded spot, assaulted him, and filmed the abuse. Following the video going viral, the victim approached police late Monday and lodged a complaint. Acting on it, police registered a case against the three — identified as Keshu, Raghav and Rajesh — and took them into custody.
