Teen drowns, body recovered a day later

Bhopal: A 15-year-old boy drowned in Lower Lake (Chhota Talab) while bathing with his younger brother and friends. Despite a search by police and municipal divers on Friday, the boy could not be traced, and his body was later found floating near a filter pump on Saturday morning. According to police, Dheeraj, a resident of Bajpai Nagar, lived with his 18-year-old sister and 14-year-old brother after losing both parents. On Friday afternoon, he had gone for a bath near Ginnori ghat when he drowned after venturing into deep water. Police said the body surfaced around 7:30 am on Saturday after an overnight search operation. TNN
