Student among 2 killed in separate road accidents
Bhopal: Two young men injured in separate road accidents in Khajuri and Kajlikheda in the city died during treatment, police said. Cases have been registered in both incidents.In the Khajuri area, a college student, Ayush Srivastava, 22, succumbed to injuries suffered in a road accident. A resident of Shivlok Colony in Khajuri Kalan, Piplani, Ayush had left home on his motorcycle on the morning of April 9. Near SPA College in Bhauri, his bike reportedly went out of control and skidded, causing him to fall on the road. He suffered serious head and leg injuries and was admitted to a private hospital, where he died during treatment on Wednesday.In another accident reported in Kajlikheda area, Kuldeep Rao, 24, who was injured after being hit by an a loading pick-up vehicle, also died. A resident of Banjari Phase-1, Kuldeep worked as a bike-taxi driver.According to police, on the morning of April 10 around 4:30 am, he was returning home on a motorcycle with his friend Aman Bhadauria when a loading pick-up vehicle hit their bike near the vegetable market on Bairagarh-Chichli Road in the area. Kuldeep was seriously injured, while Aman suffered minor injuries. Kuldeep was admitted to a hospital, where he died during treatment two days later on Wednesday. Police have registered a case against the pick-up driver.
