Stalker molests 15-yr-old girl

Bhopal: A 40-year-old stalker molested a 15-year-old girl in the city. Acting on the girl's complaint, police on Friday registered a molestation case under relevant sections of BNS and the POCSO Act. Police said the 15-year-old girl was a Class 10 student. She stated that the accused, resided in her neighbourhood. She alleged that whenever she stepped out of her home, the accused stalked her. When she raised an objection, he started verbally abusing her. Police said even residents were troubled by the accused's behaviour. Police had taken preventive action against him and sent him to jail in the past, but he continued his actions after being released. tnn
