Bhopal: Mobile phone snatchers once again became active in the city as scooter-borne snatchers carried out incidents of mobile phone snatching in the Talaiya and Aishbagh police station areas. In Aishbagh, the accused snatched a mobile phone from an engineering student, while in Talaiya they robbed a teacher of his phone while he travelled in an e-rickshaw near a night shelter.
According to Aishbagh police, Yash Savasiya, 18, is a first-year BTech student at a private engineering college in Ratibad. On Friday around 8 am, he left home to go to college and headed to Pushpa Nagar 80-Feet Road to board the college bus.
Before he could reach the bus stop, 3 scooter-borne miscreants approached from behind on the Pushpa Nagar main road, and snatched the mobile phone.

In another case, on the night of March 2 around 8 pm, Alok Mishra, 31, travelled to the Railway Station in an e-rickshaw. When he received a phone call, at that moment, 3 men riding a scooter came from behind, and snatched the mobile phone while he was seated in the e-rickshaw.
