BHOPAL: Six youths from Bhopal were killed while celebrating a birthday after a car they were travelling in lost control and plunged into a dam in Sehore district of Madhya Pradesh on Monday morning.
According to police, their vehicle veered off the road and rammed into a pole before plunging into the Kolar dam near Veerpur area. It was not immediately clear how many people were in the car, cops said, adding that rescue operations were underway.

Deceased have been identified as Akash Gupta, Pankaj Sahu, Ranjeet Sahu, Abhijeet Rathore, Gaurav Sahu and Rajnish Patel. Police said they had gone to celebrate Akash Gupta’s birthday.
