Schoolgirl raped by youth in Sehore

BHOPAL: A minor schoolgirl was raped by a youth of Takipur village in Sehore district on Monday, just two days after the self immolation by a minor girl due to harassment by youth. The victim, a 12-year-old girl of class V was raped by Jitendra Parmar, 22, a resident of the village. Police has registered a case on the complaint of the kin of the girl. Parmar is on the run. Additional superintendent of police (SP) Amit Saxena said, "We have launched a hunt to nab the accused".Sources said that the incident took place when the girl along with her friend went to drink water at a hand pump in the afternoon. The accused who raped the minor threatened her friend to leave the spot. Later the kin registered a complaint with the Kotwali police station.
