NEET UG round 1 counselling extended as 200 seats added
Bhopal: MP directorate of medical education (DME) on Monday announced a new schedule for the first round of NEET UG 2025 counselling for MBBS and BDS courses. First round counselling was supposed to conclude on Monday but now has been extended till Thursday. The move follows the recent approval of 200 new seats for two more govt medical colleges in MP. On Monday in Jabalpur, union health Minister JP Nadda formally handed over the letter of permission to CM Yadav. Alongside this, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between the state govt and private investors to establish medical colleges under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model in four districts of the state. The first round MP NEET counselling revised dates give students more time to finish admission, cancel their seats if needed, and choose to upgrade to a better option. Reporting to allotted colleges for document verification and admission will be conducted from Aug 28, 6pm on the final day. Online resignation or cancellation of admission at college level is permitted till Aug 30.
