National productivity week ends at BHEL

BHOPAL: National productivity week, which marked a series of programme, concluded at IFX conference hall, BHEL, Bhopal on Thursday. BHEL, Bhopal executive director Shashi Ranjan Prasad was the chief guest. He unveiled a book titled "Product at a Glance" published by publicity and public relations department.
The book has details of all the products manufactured in BHEL, Bhopal and the facilities available in the unit. Prasad, while urging staff to enhance the productivity level through LEAN method, said, "There was no dearth of talent in the unit. It was required to discover their hidden potential."
Winners of the competitions held during the week were honoured at the programme and presented certificates of appreciation. The participants who have been chosen for the 'Excel award' at the unit level were also honoured.
All general managers, including Sanjeev Gupta, general manager, (P&D, IT) were present. A K Chaturvedi, additional general manager, (P&PR) said that the book released will turn out to be useful for both employees and customers. Dr R P Shrringirishi coordinated the programme and Sunil Mathur proposed the vote of thanks.
