Kamal Patel on Sunday levelled a major allegation of corruption against former chief minister and state
Congress president
Kamal Nath.
Patel claimed that Nath bungled Rs 500 crore which he took as advance for irrigation works and construction of dam during his 15-month tenure as chief minister.
Agriculture minister made the allegation in Chhindwara, constituency of Congress stalwart Kamal Nath.
Patel also said that the state government is probing the financial irregularity.
“I am asking Kamal Nath that you took Rs 500 crore as advance for dam and irrigation which you bungled,” Kamal Patel said speaking to reporters in Chhindwara.
Patel was reacting to PCC chief Kamal Nath recent allegations of corruption against the
BJP government.
