MP transfers 61 IPS officers in late-night shake-up, SPs in 19 districts replaced

BHOPAL: In one of the biggest administrative reshuffles in recent months, the Madhya Pradesh government late on Saturday night transferred 61 IPS officers across ranks, from Additional Director General (ADG) to Superintendents of Police (SP) and Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCP). The SPs in at least 19 districts have been replaced. The long-pending list was issued by the Home Department after discussions between Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav and DGP Kailash Makwana.At the senior level, Ravi Kumar Gupta (1993 batch) has been given additional charge as ADG Training and Director, MP Police Academy, Bhopal. Rajababu Singh (1994) has been posted as ADG Rail, while D P Gupta (1994) continues with key responsibilities at PHQ. Solomon Yash Kumar Minj (1997) has been posted as ADG, Police Headquarters, handling grievances, human rights and welfare.In the ADG/DIG rung, Amit Singh (2009) has been moved to DIG Indore range, Avdhesh Kumar Goswami (2009) to DIG PHQ Bhopal, and Amit Sanghi (2009) to DIG Home Guard/SDRF. Virendra Kumar Singh (2009) takes over DIG Narmadapuram range, while Prashant Khare (2009) and Manish Kumar Agrawal (2009) have been shifted to PHQ.
Manoj Kumar Rai (2010), Riyaz Iqbal (2011), Rahul Kumar Lodha (2011) and Simala Prasad (2011) have also been posted to PHQ. Asit Yadav (2011) moves to DIG Gwalior range.Among mid-level officers, Vivek Singh (2012) has been posted as DIG Shahdol range, while Shailendra Singh Chouhan (2012) becomes Additional CP (Law and Order) Bhopal. Kumar Prateek (2012) has been appointed DIG Narcotics Indore, Shiv Dayal (2012) shifted to PHQ, and Mayank Awasthi (2012) posted as Additional CP Indore. Arvind Tiwari (2012) has been moved to SAF, Dhar.In district-level reshuffles, Suraj Kumar Verma (2013) has been posted as SP Bhind, while Yangchen Dolkar Bhutia (2013) takes over as SP Shivpuri. Gurkaran Singh (2014) becomes SP Rewa, Deepak Kumar Shukla (2014) moves to SAF Ujjain, and Aman Singh Rathore (2014) is posted as DCP Indore. Anurag Sujania (2014) takes charge as SP Sagar, and Sachin Sharma (2014) has been posted as SP Dhar.Further, Vikas Kumar Sahwal (2014) has been appointed DCP Bhopal, Dharmaraj Meena (2015) as SP Morena, and Sameer Saurabh (2016) as SSP Radio Bhopal. Rajat Saklecha (2016) has been posted as SP Chhatarpur, while Agam Jain (2016) becomes SP Khandwa.Among other changes, Devendra Kumar Patel (2016) has been posted as SP Jhabua, Ram Sharan Prajapati (2016) shifted to PHQ, and Sunder Singh Kanesh (2016) posted as SP Rail Jabalpur. Rajesh Vyas (2016) has been appointed SP Neemuch, while Vinod Kumar Singh (2016) moves to SAF Ratlam.Pankaj Kumar Pandey (2016) has been posted as SP Rural Bhopal, Prakash Chandra Parihar (2016) as SP Pandhurna, and Dileep Kumar Soni (2016) as SP Agar Malwa. Rajendra Kumar Verma (2016) has been moved to Rural Indore, while Vikrant Murod (2016) takes charge as SP Anuppur.Surendra Kumar Jain (2016) has been posted as SP Mauganj, Ashish Khare (2016) as SP Dindori, and Ankit Jaiswal (2017) as SP Rail Bhopal. Rajesh Raghuvanshi (2017) has been appointed SP Mandla, while Moti Ur Rahman (2018) moves to SAF Rewa.Shrutkirti Somvanshi (2018) has been posted to SAF Gwalior, Mayur Khandelwal (2020) becomes SP Datia, and Sonakshi Saxena (2020) takes charge as SP Sehore. Shiyaz K M (2020) has been posted as SP Singrauli, Anand Kaladgi (2020) as SP Damoh, and Krishna Lalchandani (2020) as SP Seoni.Among immediate action postings, Manish Khatri (2016) has been removed as SP Singrauli and posted as AIG at Police Headquarters, while Sunil Kumar Mehta (2016) has been shifted from SP Seoni to DCP Zone-4 Indore.Among younger officers, Ayush Gupta (2021) has been posted as DCP Zone-3 Bhopal, Adarshkant Shukla (2021) as DCP Zone-4 Bhopal, Narendra Rawat (2021) as DCP Zone-1 Indore, and Abhishek Ranjan (2021) as DCP Zone-3 Indore. Rahul Deshmukh (2022) has been attached to Raj Bhavan.
