Bhopal: In the mop-up round of NEET PG 2025 counselling, scores that barely registered on the 800 point scale were enough to secure postgraduate medical seats.The official allotment data shows that candidates with just 14 marks now stand to train in specialties such as Pathology and Anaesthesiology, while a score of 15 was sufficient for Ophthalmology — one of the most sought after clinical branches.

Government colleges admitted candidates in the 20–40 range for non clinical subjects like Community Medicine, Biochemistry, and Forensic Medicine, underscoring how the final round ensured every seat was filled across Madhya Pradesh's medical institutions. Slightly higher marks also secured placements; 23 led to MD Microbiology in a government college at Chhindwara, 19 with weightage to MD Pathology in Dewas, and 26 to MS Anatomy in Gwalior. Government institutions admitted candidates in the 30–40 range, largely in non-clinical specialties. Community Medicine was allotted at Chhindwara and Vidisha with scores of 30 and 33, while Forensic Medicine went to Gwalior at 42.
