Married woman raped for 3 years by mechanic

Bhopal: A 37-year-old married woman was allegedly raped by a mechanic for around three years in Ratibad locality; the case was reported at Ratibad police station on Wednesday.
Investigating officer SI Manoj Dave said, the survivor stated in her complaint that she came in contact with the accused around four years back. The woman alleged that after forging a friendship with her husband, the accused started visiting her home.In December 2018, when she was alone at home, the accused allegedly outraged her modesty, threatening her of dire consequences. Since then, he was repeatedly raping her. A few days back, she somehow gathered courage and decided to lodge a complaint against him. Initially, the woman had approached Nishatpura police station to lodge a complaint against the accused. Acting on her complaint, a zero FIR was registered against the accused at Nishatpura police station and the case diary was transferred to Ratibad police station. tnn
