MORENA: In Madhya Pradesh's Morena district, a 35-year-old man named Harendra Sharma has been accused of murdering his parents. The incident occurred on Tuesday in Kutwar village, which falls under the jurisdiction of Mata Basaiya police station, according to an official.
Jaipal Singh, the police station in-charge, stated that the accused used an iron rod to attack his father Omprakash Sharma (70) and mother Urmila (65) while they were sleeping. The brutal assault resulted in the death of both parents.
According to local residents, Harendra is believed to be mentally unstable and had frequent arguments with his parents over financial matters. The official mentioned that these altercations occurred on a daily basis.
Following the heinous crime, the accused fled from the scene.
The police have initiated a search operation to apprehend Harendra Sharma and bring him to justice. The investigation into the double murder is ongoing, as authorities work to gather more evidence and determine the exact circumstances surrounding the tragic event.
