Man gets life term for rape of minor

Bhopal: A special Pocso court on Friday sentenced a person to life imprisonment on charges of raping a minor girl on several occasions. The accused was arrested under section 354 (a) of the

and relevant sections of Pocso Act for molesting the girl but in her statement in court, the 10-year-old girl revealed that the accused has raped her on several occasions making the court to enhance charges against the accused to section 376 (a) (b) of the IPC and section 5 M/6 of the Pocso Act.
