Bhopal: A man was sentenced to 10 years rigorous imprisonment by a court in Raisen district, for raping a 2 months old calf .
The incident took place at Jamunia village of the district on July 3, 2021. Additional district and sessions judge,

, sentenced accused Ansar Khan, 37, to 10 years rigorous imprisonment and fine of ₹5000.

said, while sentencing the accused court commented that “A human can fall to such an extent, there is no point in taking soft stance while sentencing.”
“Govardhan a local resident wake up in the night after hearing the cries of his 2 month old calf. He went towards the shed where the calf was kept to find that accused

was escaping. There were injury marks on the privates of the animal,” Gupta said.
“The samples taken from private parts of the animal were sent for forensic evaluation and the reports confirmed the presence of human sperms in the samples”, he added.“The calf died after a few days of the incident. Other villagers including the wife of Govardhan also testified against the accused. Medical test of accused was also done”, he added. tnn
