Man duped of 2L via link on mobile
Bhopal: Cyber fraudsters targeted a farmer and duped him of Rs2 lakh in Kajlikheda area. The accused allegedly sent a link to the farmer's mobile phone, and as soon as he clicked on it, the money was debited from his bank account. Police have registered a case based on an e-FIR.According to police, the complainant, 32-year-old Akbar Khan, a resident of Bairagarh Chichli, is engaged in farming. After noticing the unauthorised transaction, he contacted the bank, but officials denied any direct transaction from their end, even though the money had already been transferred to another account. Realising that he had been cheated, Khan lodged a complaint on cyber-crime helpline and filed an e-FIR.
