He advanced to the finals on Thursday with impressive victories in both singles and doubles events. The girls' category final will feature a match between Aganya Bhadauria and Gauri Sharma.
At the Ace Tennis School Campus in Rajiv Gandhi College Salaiya, Hitarth Surana secured his finals berth with a compelling 6-4, 3-6, 6-2 victory over Maharashtra's Aarish Dalvi in the first semi-final. After winning the first set 6-4, Hitarth faced resistance from Aarish, who claimed the second set 6-3. However, Hitarth regained control in the decisive set, winning it 6-2.
The second semi-final saw MP's Vihaan Nawab defeat fellow state player Naitik Jain 6-4, 6-3. Vihaan dominated both sets, setting up a Sunday final against top seed Hitarth. In doubles competition, MP's Hitarth Surana and Ruhaan Talreja overwhelmed state-mates Ayansh Soni-Shaurya Makhija with a straightforward 6-1, 6-1 victory in the first semi-final.
The second semi-final resulted in MP's Aarush Koolwal and Maharashtra's Aarish Dalvi defeating MP's Nawab Vihaan-Ojas Mishra 7-6, 6-2.
In the girls' singles category, MP's Aagnya Bhadoria secured a dominant 6-0, 6-0 win over Toshika Prajapati in the first semi-final. The second semi-final saw Gauri Sharma defeat Dhriti Sharma 6-0, 6-1. All category finals are scheduled for Friday.
