Madhya Pradesh elections: BJP leading at 166, INC 66 till 1.30 pm, counting on

Among the major faces, union minister Faggan Singh Kulaste was trailing from Niwas, union minister Narendra Singh Tomar was leading from Dimni. Ministers in state cabinet, Meena Singh was trailing from Manpur, minister Arvind Bhadoria was trailing from Ater, home minister Narottam Mishra was trailing from Datia constituency.

BHOPAL: Trends of 230 constituencies in Madhya Pradesh are available till 1.30 pm and of these BJP is leading at 161 and INC is leading at 66 seats.
Besides BJP and INC, BSP was leading at two seats and others were leading at 1 seat.
"Counting started on time and is going on smoothly all across the state. One EVM at polling booth number 8 of Alirajpur is not displaying votes, it has been kept aside.

As per ECI instructions if need be VVPAT slips will be counted", chief electoral officer Anupam Rajan said.
