Bhopal: Portions of the house owned by the father of the main accused in Amihiya
murder case in Rewa was razed by district administration on Friday.
On July 17, the deceased identified as Sahil Mishra, 23, resident of Bicchiya village, was shot dead at the house of Sumit Singh Parihar. He and 5 others including Sumit Singh Parihar were sitting in a room when a bullet was fired at Sahil, they rushed him to a private hospital, but doctors declared him dead, they then left the body at hospital and escaped.
Next day, the kin of deceased staged a protest, demanding demolition of the house of the main accused.
The house was razed on Friday. The administration, however, didn’t mention anything about the crime but said that around 200 square feet portion of the house was illegal as per building permission and it was razed.
Joint teams of administration, police and civic body reached the house on Friday morning. “The house is owned by Hans Raj Parihar and as per the building permission issued by civic body, around 200 square feet of the building was illegal and hence it was razed following the norms”, SDM Anurag Tiwari told media persons.
A total of 10 people including the family members of main accused Sumit Singh Parihar have been made accused. Of these, 4 have been arrested and search for others including main accused Sumit Singh Parihar is going on.
