‘GST evasion’: LOP writes to FM Sitharaman

Bhopal: LOP Umang Singhar on Monday shot a letter to Union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman, alleging organised GST evasion in the state. Singhar, in his letter, demanded a comprehensive central investigation into the case of organised GST evasion and strict action against the culprits. A copy of the letter was also sent to the chairman of the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC), the deputy chief minister in-charge of finance Jagdish Dewda, and the principal secretary, state commercial tax department.
