Bhopal: Central Region Electricity Distribution Company has made suitable arrangements to provide temporary connections to pandals during the Ganeshotsav and other upcoming festivals.
The company has appealed to the festival organizing committees to use electricity for the pandals and tableaux during Ganeshotsav only after taking temporary online connections as per the rules.
The applications can be made for temporary connection in a prescribed format available at the nearest zone offices/distribution centers of the company.
Application for temporary connection can also be made by visiting the electricity company’s portal — mpcz.in. A laminated copy of the receipt must be displayed in front of the pandal/table. The connection will be metered and the electricity bill will be billed as per the rules at the domestic rate applicable. Unauthorized use of power shall attract action.
