Bhopal: Sewage networking and door-to-door sewage connection were inspected by Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Wednesday.
BMC commissioner K V S Choudary along with other officials of the civic body inspected the works related to laying of sewage lines and sewage connections in various areas.
Works related includes laying of sewage pipelines, chamber construction and proving door-to-door connections in various areas of the city. Speedy completion of sewage networking and sewage connection is also linked to Swach Bharat mission parameters.
BMC additional commissioner Pawan Singh, BMC superintending engineer Santosh Gupta and other officers were present. Chaudhary took stock of the works related to sewage networking, at Kolar Road, Chuna Bhatti, Govind Narayan Singh Nagar and MANIT area on Wednesday.
Choudary also directed the officials to expedite the laying of sewage pipeline, construction of chambers according to the prescribed standards. He also directed to complete the work related to sewage networking and door-to-door sewage connection expeditiously.
