Engineer kills self in Misrod

Bhopal: A 24-year-old engineer was found hanging inside his home in Misrod on Sunday evening. No suicide note was recovered from the spot, however, his elder brother said that the engineer was in love with a woman but her family did not approve of him as a match — as he was unemployed. Three days ago, the woman got married to another man. Investigating officer SI Shiv Babu Tripathi said, deceased Suraj Sahu is a resident of Chhindwara district and lived with his elder brother Ashish in Misrod.He completed his engineering in 2021 and was looking for a job. SI Tripathi said, on Sunday Suraj went inside his room at around 2pm after having lunch with his sister-in-law. Around 7.45pm, his sister-in-law called him outside, but there was no response.The door was broken and Suraj was found dead. tnn
