City at 40°C again as met warns of heatwave
Bhopal: The harsh weather would intensify further in the state from Wednesday. A marginal respite in the form of dip in temperatures at a few places witnessed on Monday and Tuesday. The officials of the meteorological dept, Bhopal circle said, the state will be in the grip of heat waves from midweek.Day temperature in Bhopal on Tuesday was recorded at 40.2 degrees celsius, a degree more than the normal mark, while the night temperature in the city was 23.4 degrees celsius, which was at the normal mark. The day temperature in Narmadapuram and Khajuraho was 43 degrees celsius. In the forecast for Bhopal on Wednesday the meteorological dept stated there would be partly cloudy sky. Day and night temperature will be respectively 40 degrees celsius and 23 degrees celsius, while average wind speed will be 12 kilometers per hour.In the forecast for the state, the meteorological dept issued a warning of thunderstorm, lightning and gusty winds for Singrauli, Sidhi, Anuppur, Shahdol, Dindori, Mandla and Balaghat dists.
