‘CCTV & ID checks must at farmhouses’

Bhopal: In a bid to curb illegal activities, police have initiated strict enforcement measures, including installing CCTV cameras and maintaining records, at farmhouses, marriage gardens, and restaurants—particularly in the outskirts of the city.As part of this drive, a meeting of all farmhouse operators in Eintkhedi area was held at the police station on Monday. SDOP Eintkhedi and SHO Ashish Sapre along with other police staff interacted with the operators.Police issued strict instructions to operators to maintain a complete file of all valid documents related to their establishments, including land records, diversion permissions, TNCP approvals, Gumashta license, and GST registration. Operators were also directed to ensure mandatory character verification (police verification) of farmhouse owners, managers, and security personnel.To strengthen security arrangements, police instructed that CCTV cameras must be installed at key locations. Operators have also been directed to maintain a proper register for every booking, recording details and IDs.
