Bhopal NCC cadets shine at pre R-Day camp

Bhopal: NCC Group Bhopal clinched the overall championship in the inter-group competition at the Pre-Republic Day Camp (RDC) of NCC Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh directorate. The Combined Annual Training and Pre-RDC-1 Camp was hosted by 1 MP Naval Unit NCC Bhopal at Madhyanchal Professional University.Maj Gen Vikrant M Dhumne, the additional director general of NCC Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh directorate, was the chief guest at the camp. He presented awards to the winning groups. Jabalpur Group secured awards in multiple categories including best cadet, ballet, and idea innovation and startup. The Flag Area and Drill awards went to Bhopal Group, whilst Raipur Group received recognition for Group Dance. Sagar Group earned the Group Song award, and Bhopal Group secured the Overall Best Group distinction.The award ceremony was attended by senior officials including Brig Rajnesh Singh Gaur, deputy director general of MP and CG directorate, director Group Captain Gopi Mohan, Brig Ajit Singh from NCC group headquarters Bhopal, and camp commandant Lieutenant Commander Shrikant Garg. The Combined Annual Training Camp concluded with prize distribution and cultural performances, wehee cadets showcased their talents through various presentations.
