BHOPAL: A 32-year-old man allegedly jumped before a moving train in Misrod locality on Tuesday late night. No suicide note was recovered from the spot. Misrod police have registered a case and started investigations.
Investigating officer ASI Shivbabu Tripathi said, “ the deceased was identified as Amit Agrawal, a resident of Pebble Bay Colony in Bag Sewania.
He was a senior accountant in a private firm in MP Nagar. He resided here with his wife and an 8-month-old son.” ASI Tripathi said, “on Tuesday late night around 12.30am, police received an information on Dial-100 that an unidentified body was lying on a railway tracks near Bawadiya Kalan Railway Crossing in Misrod.”
“During the investigation, it came to light that Amit had a fight with his wife over some issues and around 10pm he left home in his car and parked the vehicle near a pub in Misrod locality,” said ASI Tripathi. He added that his wife called one of his close friends Ravikant Singh and asked him to search for Amit. Amit’s friend spotted his car near the pub and heard from locals that a body was lying nearby on the railway tracks. He immediately called on Amit’s mobile number and later Amit was identified.
