Bhopal: Honeytrap accused discharged on human trafficking, blackmailing case

BHOPAL: A local court here discharged one of the honeytrap case accused Sweta Swapnil Jain in the case where she was charged of human trafficking and criminal conspiracy by the special investigation team (SIT) which is investigating into the case.
The court, however, framed charges of human trafficking and criminal conspiracy under section 370, 370(a) and 120 (b) of the IPC against three other accused in the case - Swati Vijay Jain, Arti Dayal and Abhishek.
Counsel for Swati Swapnil Jain had moved an application praying the court not to frame charges of human trafficking and criminal conspiracy against his client since there is no evidence against her in the SIT charge-sheet.
The human trafficking case is based on FIR lodged by father of Monica Yadav, who is also an accused in the honeytrap case, who had charged that his daughter was lured into coming to Bhopal by her friend Abhiskek on the pretext of better education and job. After she moved to Bhopal, he introduced her to other honeytrap accused, who dragged her into flesh trade and blackmailing . She was a minor then. It was on the basis of this that the human trafficking and criminal conspiracy charges were framed against honeytrap accused barring Monica Yadav and Abhishek.
