Bhopal: Meteorological officials on Monday said that maximum temperatures are likely to rise gradually by 2 to 4 degrees over the next three days, with no significant change thereafter. Minimum temperatures are expected to remain largely unchanged over the next five days, officials added.
Bhopal recorded a maximum temperature of 34.4 degrees on Monday, which was 1.4 degrees higher than the 33 degrees recorded a day earlier on Sunday.
For Bhopal, the weather office has forecast a clear sky, with temperatures likely to hover around 35 degrees and 18 degrees. The Met department, however, indicated that after two days, rainfall may occur at isolated places on March 26 in several north-eastern districts, including Bhind, Gwalior, Datia, Shivpuri, Niwari, Tikamgarh, Chhattarpur, Sagar, Damoh, Panna, Satna, Maihar, Rewa, Mauganj and Sidhi.
Similarly, on March 27. Rainfall is also likely at isolated places in districts such as Panna, Satna, Maihar, Shahdol, Anuppur, Sidhi, Rewa, Mauganj and Singrauli.
During the last 24 hours, the weather remained dry across all divisions of the state, Met officials said.
